The Core, Guys & St Thomas’s Hospital Trust
A new build five-storey development located to the south of the main St Thomas’ Hospital campus, the Core is a mixed patient clinical services and medical education facility for Evelina London Children’s Hospital due to hand over in late 2022.
Due to the nature of the site being a live hospital, careful consideration has had to be made to planning and sequencing of works on this project. MSL have worked closely with Morgan Sindall to ensure that all deadlines are achieved on time and completed in line with the HTM’s.
Detailed surveys were completed before we stepped foot on site to ensure that MSL fully understood the logistics and service routes of the existing hospital and services which were due to feed the new building.
